Monday today interviewed a person called Chris Colombo he is the son the

youngest son of legendary Colombo mob boss Joe Colombo now this was quite an

interesting interview and at times was difficult and at times was very

enjoyable we saw Joe Colombo through the eyes of his son now one thing you can

glean from this interview is that his son Chris Colombo loved him a lot you can

definitely tell and I wonder if some of it is misguided romanticism however he

would tell us a lot of interesting things about the guy that has the namesake of

one of the five American mob families he definitely wasn't happy off the top

when I said the word mafia which is something that his father would say throughout

his life we talked about his father's assassination and the fact that he

actually believes it wasn't the mafia that put Jerome Johnson at that rally

in the early 70s we talked about his time as a gigantic bookmaker his indictment

by the federal government for being a bookmaker as well as this time in prison
