When. When, Grab a beer and pull up a deck chair. This is True Crime Island, another

true crime podcast, so islanders, last week we went over the Jennifer Pan case and if you haven't

listened to that one yet then maybe pause and go back before you listen to

this second and final part. Now we left off with 24 year old Jennifer being

interviewed for the second time on the 10th of November 2010. Now that was just

two days after the home invasion that killed her 53 year old mother Bick and

seriously wounded her 57 year old father Han.

Now Jennifer's brother Felix he was away at school at the time and Jennifer of

course she escaped unharmed. Now harm was still in a coma and sadly on the 10th of

November Bick Han's father died at the ripe old age of 102.

Now although he was having health problems, you can't help to think that the murder

of his daughter hastened his passing. Now we heard how

Tiger parenting had restricted what Jennifer could and couldn't do, who she could hang out with, and what she, and that she couldn't have a boyfriend well at least one

that she wanted Daniel Wong although she got around these restrictions by

lying to her parents about school, university, jobs and where

she bought it.

So tonight, again, I'll reference the Edmonton Journal, The National Post, York Regional Police Interview Tapes, the Vancouver

son and the book A Daughter's Deadly Deception by Jeremy Grimaldi. He was one of the crime reporters on the on the spot at the time.

So that's a great book I suggest you have a look.
