Lyman, you are just so listeners understand, you are associated with a you're like an associate scholar or something like that.

Adjunct fellow, I think it's the terror. Adjunct fellow, these labels, they matter to so few.

And like Irving Crystal, one of my heroes, was a visiting fellow or visiting scholar for like three years.

It was a long visit. Technically we're all visiting periods.

So, but you live in Hong Kong, right, which is a tough commute to the AI building.

You know, it's longer than the typical metro commute. Although the metro commute is pretty long right now.

That's right. So, but the space between is shrinking every day because the metro commuters are getting longer.

Right. Yeah. And what, so what are you doing in Hong Kong?

Well, my wife actually is teaching English in a local Lutheran school there.

And then I help out with that. So, I'm going to also do some church work in Lutheran, you know, Lutheran church in Hong Kong.

But at the same time, I continue to live the pundit life in America via the magic of the internet.

But you are like a, so like there are a lot of listeners who think I'm a Wong.

And, and the thing is I am, I'm very much more of a popularizer. I'm sort of a punter. You are in fact a Wong.

You can't fake, I, one of the things having spent 25, 30 years in this world is I can spot real Wong's from poser Wong's.

And anyone who gets that excited about neighbor releases and in tranches of data is a real Wong, right.

So, what is your specialty on stuff?

Also, I'm trained as an economist. But whereas a lot of economists you'll catch talking about unemployment and inflation and these exciting things, my focus is population.
