True story, and I'm not a fan of haunted houses, but I went through one as a kid, and it freaked me out.

It was too much. I do remember towards the end of it actually telling myself, wait a second, I don't have to be afraid of any of this.

What am we doing? It's all the big setup. So I remind myself of that. I don't have to be, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. I remember having that cognitive thing happen.

Right.

Or like, I don't have to do it. It's really true. As an adult, we can still do that.

Like, Jesus even told us, we don't have anything to be afraid of. Don't worry about who can

harm you, your body, or whatever. If your trust is in God,

you have literally no one to, you can actually tell yourself that. Whatever you're going through

today, it's good to tell yourself that. Like, I know what I thought I saw in the house, you know,

but I know what things seem like in the world, but Jesus is repeatedly telling us you don't have to be afraid.

You know one thing I love about Jesus, and I know, like, some people are like, duh,

of course that's what he is, but he really is this way.

Like the people who were comfortable in the world at large, like they kind of had it going on,

they're making it, you know, pretty comfortable at the top of the heap. They didn't feel so

comfortable around him. Like, something was off to them. Like, this is the, but then the people

who felt very uncomfortable felt really drawn to him.

He made them feel comfortable.

So the reason I was thinking about that is like, if I'm going to be like him or if you're going to be like him,

I think that's going to happen with us.

Like people who got it all going on may find us a little bit odd.
