This is a bit of an experiment.

I like to say right up front that I haven't the slightest idea what I'm doing, but I decided to do it anyway.

And this show is founded with the idea that there are only two people in art that matter.

There's a creative individual and the person experiencing it.

And everything else is an artificial filter.

This is a way for me to share things with you guys without any filters whatsoever.

My guess this week is Jeremy Harmon.

Jeremy works at the Salt Lake Tribune in Salt Lake City, Utah, and they've been compiling

a huge Joe Hill archive online.

And you can find that archive at joehill.sltrib.com.

I met up with Jeremy at the Salt Lake Tribune offices, a place I never thought I would be.

But we sat down and talked and we recorded well over an hour worth of stuff. There's just so much, so many details. You know, people have written entire books, many books about Joe Hill. But the Salt Lake Tribune has spent the last year compiling this archive and they've put it all online. And I really encourage you to look through it. It's an amazing, an amazing piece of history that they have.

There's photos of Joe Hill that I've never seen. There's just so many pieces of evidence that were not introduced in the trial.

Joe in a rather favorable light. But there's no way that we could fit everything into this show. Like I said, we recorded well over an hour's worth of stuff.

So I've edited this down the best that I can and just tried to give you a little bit of an overview.
