Would you join me in prayer? Lord, thank you so much for this evening. And this time is special.

Lord, it's our time that we can be filled with your word, Lord. And Holy Spirit, would you speak to us, Lord?

Would you lead us? Lord, may we have your word very deep down in our hearts, Lord.

That we won't get caught off guard.

I pray that our shields will be ready from the attacks of the enemy, Lord.

And that's why every moment that we have in your word, Lord, is important.

So bless this time together.

joining us online we are so very glad that you are a couple things before things before we get started. The first of which is

that our prayer meeting is coming up Tuesday. Next Tuesday, September 5th, 7 p.m. here in the sanctuary.

Actually, Pastor Mack will be leading that prayer meeting. And I really hope that you'll be able to come and join together as a church

together praying together. Secondly, I want to apprise you of our ongoing relief efforts

for our Maui Ohana. I will be providing another update on Sunday, both services,

but tonight I did want to answer a question

that we're being asked about concerning our setting up of

or having a Maui relief fund.

The short answer is we do not have one.

And the reason is because we don't need one.

And the reason we don't need one is because we never ask for money.

And the reason we haven't asked for money or would never ask for money
