Uh, but so they, they then do figure it out, and then they're talking, like,

they're trying to get some kind of like, you know, what, what background could we

give on this guy?

And so they get his daughter.

He's got a living daughter who spent a couple years

around him. The beginning of her life, he's nowhere to be seen. He shows up in the middle there

somewhere. She says that, you know, like she's making no attempt to be like, well, if you've gotten

to know him, he was actually pretty cool. She's not saying that. But she's like, this is the most stable period of my life by far. Like, for one thing, the other creeps in the town stopped fucking with me and my mom. So that was nice. And just like it was, it was the only kind of like nuclear family experience that she had. And then it ended whenever you got into shoot

out with police and killed himself. So, you know, not all sunshine and rainbows. But she was in

the course of trying to explain why a serial killer being in her life was viewed by her as a positive.

She's like, normal people were a big exception in my life she

grew up in like a poor part arkansas and so she's like the main most of the people i'm around

every day all day were fucking weirdos and criminals and she's describing like the the experience

that you have like just the people

that give you the heby-jeebies. And as she's doing it, I'm thinking, I like have a thing that I'm

probably mentioned before of like, there is one time that stands out above the others where it was

a dude. I mean, like I knew him well enough. We went to middle school together, all of middle school. He was on the football team with me. And we were doing football practice. And he was a guy that I was all, like he didn't pick on me a lot, but it always felt like I should be, make sure that that stayed the case you know what I mean like the guys who you're
