Hello friends and welcome to the Robcast. This is episode 123 and this is part seven of the wisdom

series and this episode is called the simple and the subtle and of course when you say the word

subtle you have to say it like that like subtle it's not subtle it's subtle the simple and the

subtle and this episode is actually it's really interesting how how the creation of content comes

about because when I started working through the proverbs and the wisdom tradition thinking about

doing a series for the Robcast this idea that I'm going to show you here in this episode was one of

the first ones that was like whoa I never seen that before that's really interesting and I did

like the rough one-minute overview for Kristen my wife and she gave me that look like you know that

look like I know you're really excited about this but but you're not making it in much sense I

remember thinking apparently I'm gonna have to live with this for a while because I'm not able to

communicate my sort of thrill about what I've stumbled into here so this was going to be episode

one but I've lived with it now for a couple of months what two three months now and now it's like oh

that's actually what's going on here so I'm gonna show you something that's it's like almost just

below the surface and this is a classic example of how an ancient text and an ancient tradition

has all of this depth and profound truth but like you have to live with it for a while and you

you have to let it marinate so we're gonna we're gonna cover all sorts of interesting ground here

because I am I'm really really thrilled that I get to show this to you a couple things real quickly

uh I'm doing a Largo show this week and I've been working on this for a while I'm debuting this

new thing on the evolution of flowers and it's almost like a theology of aesthetics and we're

gonna talk about architecture and dancing and how it all relates to your commute in the morning to

work anyway that's my Largo show Pete Rollins is actually gonna do some on the front end which
