And I just wrote my manifesto for my time at Yale for Sarah Rules Class and like my whole thing was about nonsense and like someone not being able to make sense of my otherness through the meaning

making required in theater right because no one's trying to make sense of whiteness

when they watch a Worcester group show you know what I mean? You know what,

whereas if I put a play up where it's just you and I talking into

microphones about what we're talking about right now, people will be making

sense of it through a racial lens. It's through a queer lens. and we only do that with other bodies.

And I'm saying like that's, like again it's not a bad thing, it's just a thing that

like I'm excited to complicate.

Welcome to the show. Oh, Hello everyone, happy holidays to you. Usually on this

podcast around this time of the year we do a kind of holiday episode where I call friends and past guests of the

podcast sometimes my parents and talk to them about what they're thankful for

but we're not going to do that this year.

Ultimately, that required a whole bunch of work.

And right now I'm in between three or four different running projects and I just didn't quite have the

energy to do that. I apologize in advance. If you were looking forward to that, we will do it again next year.

That being said, we originally were going to have the wonderful actor Keith David on the show this week. We recorded that episode. It is really, really good. But my friend, the very talented Jeremy O'Harese, was in town this past week. His new play called Slave Play is in New York right now.

He has another one coming out in 2019 called Daddy. He is one of the smartest, funniest, loudest, and enjoyable people I know to talk to.

And I didn't want to pass that up and quite frankly if you have been reading the New York Times or the New York Times magazine or just been on the internet
