Let's start talking about iPhone 8.

So there are two different rumors going around right now and the first is that the

iPhone 8 is going to have a curved glass back. Is that a good or a bad idea?

Well I mean the advantages of glass is that it lets radio through.

You see that on Apple Watch, there's a glass, it's actually ceramic back,

but lets both light through and for this blood

sensor and also accommodates wireless charging,

induction charging.

So that would be one advantage to having another material in the back.

Could be glass could be something like ceramic

that Apple's been working with on the watch and other places.

Yeah, and it's also a nice tough material, right?

Yeah, both, I mean, if you look at the way that Apple is using glass in the

Apple stores and in the new Apple Park, they're doing kind of amazing structural

things with glass that you think of glass as being so fragile like windows but

there's a lot of things that not only in just huge thick construction glass, but also, like you were mentioning the face of the

glass face on things Apple calls it IonX Glass, or I think it's Gorilla Glass, is Corning's
