I mean, this is what, you know, that's how they thought of me, is that, okay, so you're leaving.

These people have decided they want you.

You're leaving in a couple days.

So we're just going to put your stuff in a while you can sleep on the floor.

I remember hearing, I will take care of you and you will not hurt anymore.

And I will carry you through this. And you're not alone. I've got you and I see you. I remember that all the time

is I see you. Hey, it's Jamie Cabe. Welcome back to the forgotten podcast. We're in every

episode I get to interview members of the foster care community. And today is part two of a

really special episode with Nicole Argo.

Nicole grew up in foster care.

As a seven-year-old little girl, she was taken into foster care.

And she talks with us of her journey through foster care into in and out of homes, children's home.

She's very open and honest about her story. And there's some things here that are a little more adult in nature. And so keep that in mind as you have young ones close. We had to cut off last time at a point when Nicole and her brother were going to be separated. When Nicole was going to be moving to another home, a home that

again, a new stranger. Sadly, the foster parents that had been with her were not showing her

the love that she needed. Give you a little brief bio on Nicole before we go back into that. Nicole

and her husband Jason are married and together they have two beautiful children ages eight and five.

She's a wedding and portrait photographer and her husband Jason is a pastor.

They live in New York.
