Hey, everyone. Thanks for listening in today. I'm having a super

good day. I just found out the puppy that has been selected for our next service dog puppy.

That's always fun. So I'm super excited. He comes in three weeks. Can't hardly wait. So we'll hope

that goes well. I'm also having a great summer. I live in Cache Valley,

which is in northern Utah. We're about an hour and 20 minutes north of Salt Lake. It's super green here

this year. We've had a really wet spring. So yesterday my family and I went out on a hike up Logan Canyon,

which is about 20 minutes from our home.

And I was happy to see so many dogs on the trails.

Good owners and good dogs out having a good time together.

Okay, so for today's podcast, I want to address kids and puppies.

Because we are in summer, lots of kids are home from school, and they're interacting with their dogs. And I want to

make sure that, you know, everybody's educated on how kids should or should not interact with a dog.

I think this could prevent a lot of accidents, a lot of misbehavior and a lot of tears. So let's talk

about kids and puppies today because kids love puppies. And

puppies honestly love kids, but sometimes for different reasons. So sometimes I think kids think that

these little puppies are maybe stuffed animals or toys and they just want to love them and squeeze

them. And so they might not know exactly how to interact with that puppy to show that puppy
