0:25.9	we've been learning much about Jacob. Can you remember all of the things we have
0:31.4	learned about Jacob so far? We learned that Jacob not only tricked
0:36.0	his brother Esau into giving him the birthright, but he tricked his father Isaac into giving
0:41.7	him the blessing. We learned that Jacob had to flee
0:44.9	from his homeland of Canaan and live with his uncle Laban for 20 years where he
0:50.2	married Rachel and Leah and had 13 children.
0:54.4	We learned that when it was time for Jacob to return home,
0:58.5	that God changed his name from Jacob,
1:01.2	which means deceiver, to Israel.
1:04.0	Jacob returned home to find that his brother was no longer angry.
1:09.0	And he lived in the land of Canaan that had been promised to his grandfather Abraham and to his father
1:16.9	Isaac.
1:18.9	Jacob would now carry on in the covenant that God had made with Abraham and with Isaac. The covenant
1:26.7	would now continue to Jacob. In today's episode I'm very excited to announce that we will learn about one of my favorite
1:36.6	characters of the Bible.
