learned about Jacob so far? We learned that Jacob not only tricked

his brother Esau into giving him the birthright, but he tricked his father Isaac into giving

him the blessing. We learned that Jacob had to flee

from his homeland of Canaan and live with his uncle Laban for 20 years where he

married Rachel and Leah and had 13 children.

We learned that when it was time for Jacob to return home,

that God changed his name from Jacob,

Jacob returned home to find that his brother was no longer angry.

And he lived in the land of Canaan that had been promised to his grandfather Abraham and to his father
