Greetings, dear listeners. This is Jonah Goldberg on another edition of the Remnant Podcast.

0:41.6

I thought I was going to put a little more distance between us and the Matt Kuntneti

0:46.8

conservative geek-out episode from two episodes ago, particularly in the wake of the trade

0:52.3

Wong Fest that I did in the last podcast. But I had a permanent invitation to my longtime friend

1:00.4

and sort of guru on lots of things, Steve Hayward. And he was in town, so we decided to do it. And

1:07.4

besides he has apparently some issues with some of the things we talked about in the past.

1:13.2

I'm here today just with Jack Butler. Jack, you actually know Steve on your own, right?

1:17.8

1:59.0

2:05.6

movement can use a hell lot more of, he actually cares about sort of bringing up next generation,

2:11.7

young people, appointing them in the right direction about what to read, and he's an all-around

2:16.6

really great and decent guy. I need sort of a happy warrior, which I think is a really

2:20.7

important thing to be. So anyway, coming up next is my conversation with Steve Hayward. We'll see

2:26.0

all it goes. But first, I want to talk to you about one of our new sponsors this week, because

2:30.3

I'm really psyched to have them. It's the, uh, the new book, Scalia Speaks, Reflections on Law,
