TDF Honest Farming, Derek Josie. I think it's TDF stands for

Telemote. And that's an area as well as a brand, I guess, so it could be confusing if you're

not an Oregonian. Oregonian or Oregonite? What is it? Oregonian.

Oh boy, it's too much to keep up with. I can't do it.

So you're a dairy farmer, I guess. Is that how you would describe yourself?

Yeah, I would describe myself as a dairy farmer. I mean, we grow crops too.

I mean, the cows are what pay the bills, so I'm going to take care of those ladies.

Yeah, tell me a little bit about how you got into it. Is it a family thing?

And then tell me a bit about your farm and what it is you do there exactly.

Yeah, absolutely. So I am fourth generation on this property. So yeah, you can say I was born

into it. We started off with 60 acres, 60 cows. We're a little larger than that. We're in the process

of building on new facilities. We're going to be milking 1200 cows. We were on about 400 acres

for a state and beautiful area. I mean, I'm blessed with where I live. We don't get as hot as you

do in Texas. I think our average temperature in the summer is in the mid 70s.

So, and I'm part of the Touma co-op and some of your listeners probably know that brand,

any of the dairy products from that brand could have come from my cows.

Oh, yeah, I'm sure I've eaten some of your cheese before.
