You know, in 1920, the great inventor Thomas Edison was asked in an interview with Scientific

American to comment on the possibility of using his inventions to communicate with spirits.

And he replied that if the spirits were only capable of subtle influences, a sensitive

recording device would provide a better chance of spirit communication than the table-tipping

and the Ouija boards that Mediums employed at the time.

And he even said in a later article that he was trying to build such a device.

But they say to this day there is no evidence that Edison ever succeeded.

On the other hand, the rumor has always been around that he did, and somewhere out there

is this holy grail of spirit communication machines.

Who knows?

I even wrote a screenplay for a movie about that concept one time many years ago.
