producer, songwriter and musician who to date has been involved in 16 number one albums,

six number one singles and two US number ones and as a session musician

has performed on over 200 records. In an impressively varied career he's worked with the likes of

Adele, Stormsy, Craig David,

Brittany Spears, Sam Smith, Craig David, Teo Cruz, Lily Allen, Kaiser Chiefs and

Tinshi Strider to name but a few We are delighted to welcome the fantastic

Fraser T Smith to the show.

We've once a Fraser on the show pretty much since day one, haven't we?

Yeah, definitely.

Back in 2010 when the show was still a glinton-R-I

we attended a basket event in London called Songfest, which is sort of a songwriters conference really.

And Fraser was on one of the panels along with our

former guest Sasha Scarbeck and we liked the cut up his jib so to speak so less than a year later

when we were making a list of writers we'd like to speak to

Fraser was among the first names on that list

took a while but we finally got our man

I always did have the patience of a serial killer.

We met with Fraser in late October 2017 at his gorgeous studio in Parsons Green, South London,

sneakily tucked away behind a row of houses on a normal suburban street. and Smith was born in 1971 and grew up in the town of Marlow in Buckinghamshire, England.

His parents were avid music listeners and raised their son on their eclectic record collection.
