Don't know if you deal with anxiety. I do. I think most humans do.

Big time, especially right now.

Some experts will tell you what you don't want to do is think about worst case scenarios.

Don't even think about it.

Don't just don't go there and then just think about happy thoughts.

Interesting because in Psalms, David's writing, and he actually goes there with the worst

case scenarios. But the way he does it is different. He's not anxious about it. He's saying,

even if this happened, even if I'm surrounded by these armies, even if my own father and mother disowned me, which wasn't the story.

But he's like, even if that happened, I know you're my defender.

I know you'll still be with me.

Even if all of that stuff.

So he's actually going there, but he's able to go there because he knows who God is. He knows him.

And that gives you the strength to go, yeah, you know, I don't have to worry about tomorrow

because he'll be there with me.

This is kind of genius. If the kids are not being entertained, let's say you got kids.

Maybe you don't. Let's say you do. You got kids in there. Bored, I'm bored and they're bored i'm bored i'm bored okay this guy says he's an expert tom hodgkinson oh tom hodgonson

says what's tom sandy says yeah he wrote a book called the idle parent but it says what you need to do is

build in nothing time into the day.

What does that look like?

It's just saying, like, say your kids are 10, you can give them an hour of nothing time.
