I am your host, Marie Kent. Normally I do the podcast

with Bryce Blankenagle, but desperate times call for desperate measures, namely that I'm doing

anything and everything to avoid folding my laundry. Not even kidding. Today, I painted mandolas

on my kitchen cabinets as a way to avoid matching socks into pairs. Like, I am deep into

avoidance territory. So instead of dealing with the mountain of wrinkled shirts, I'm recording

a mini episode. Nothing is more exciting than the doctrines and covenants. Nothing. Normally,

there's no skimming ahead, but it's hard to have a discussion about historical context when the man with all the historical context isn't here.

So, Bryce, I miss you in your brain more than you know.

I've had to substitute you with lazy Googling and Wikipedia entries.

It's dire.

So come over here and fold my laundry.

That would help immensely.
