What is up, you spooky bitches? We are back and we have another episode of the Hello Sydney podcast here, a podcast for horror lovers where we discuss any and all things horror. And it's me, your girl,ney happy wednesday happy happy end of august which means happy end of foreign horror month we do have another episode still on friday but i've already filmed that so this is my last one of the month and i've had such a blast doing foreign horror month it's been quite the roller coaster. Like, it's been a rough month.

Like, train to Busan nearly killed me. But honestly, I would do it all again. What a fucking

lineup. Will we ever have another month where the lineup is this good? I don't know.

It's been a wild ride. And the movie that we're talking about today is no exception. I haven't

watched anything new guys because I am in the midst of moving. I am finally in my house. Like I've slept here the past couple nights. I am finally actually inside of it and all my furniture is here. My office is coming together. Today I put together like my bookshelves and I have like a little Stephen King corner. It's going to look so fucking good. I can't wait for you

guys to see it when it's officially all done and when it's like officially my backdrop. It's going to

look so great. I'm so excited. And I filmed Friday's episode in advance because on Thursday,

I am going to Orlando because Universal is flying me out for the opening night of Halloween horror

nights, which is on the 29th. I have never been to Halloween horror nights. I've never been. And now I get to go to the grand opening. Like, the terrifier house is going to fucking kill me. I don't go to haunted houses during Halloween season because as much as I love horror, I don't like living it. Like, I don't want to be in it. And I've also said this before. Like I have a fear where like a serial

killer is going to be hiding out and they're going to kill me and people are just going to think that it's part of the show. Like I am absolutely terrified of that. So I don't go to this shit. It's going to be a tough time. I think I'm going to have a tough time. It's going to be a blast and I'm so grateful and I'm so excited to be going. But yeah, I'm going to document it, of course. about today is Audition, which came out in 1999, and this one is out of Japan. And this movie was

directed by Takashi Miquet, who is a famous horror director, and he is famously known for his very

disturbing material that he creates. Audition being one of them. Takashi Mika made the single

most disturbing piece of cinema I've ever seen in my life. Like I would say, honestly, I think I had a

harder time watching that than I did like a Serbian film or anything else. Even though like the subject matter of a Serbian film and some

other disturbing movies, I think are worse. There was something about Takashi Miquet's

imprint that made me so fucking uncomfortable and so absolutely disgusted. It has the worst

fingernail scene I've ever seen in my entire life.

It is just, it's like dirty. It's gross. And it's so funny because it was made for an American
