I showed my daughter the 2001, the end of the 2001 Daytona 500 last night. Wow. How'd you take it? Uh, I think she said

what's going on, something like that. Mm-hmm. I didn't answer. It felt rhetorical. You know,

it was kind of like, wow, that's crazy. Did you explain to her that that man had gone to meet his maker?

No, I felt like that would be...

What's the point of it then?

Well, the way it unfolded was, uh, her mom was kind of, you know, she was getting

tired, she's going down for the night.

And Izzy was going to follow her soon, you know, she was getting tired. She's going down for the night. And Izzy was going to

follow her soon. You know, I think most people, the kid goes to sleep before the parents,

and we try to stick to that. But it felt like, whatever, I don't need to get into the nitty-gritty,

but it was a pretty early night for Megan, and it was, it would be a quick downturn,

a quick change in gears to get Izzy to sleep right then. So I thought 10 more minutes of chilling was kind of the order of the day. And once her mom turns the corner on the stairs to go up, she looks at me, goes, let's watch some car crashes. And I said, buddy, I got you. Let's put on the big one. Now, is this something, is there

something that this is, this is a present in the past or a first time request for vehicular

carnage? I may have put on car crashes once before. Sure. I mean, what the beak. Yeah.

You can't, you lead them and then if they want to come back to it, right?

And it's been months. It was... It's about exposing them to opportunities.

It was a crazy poll for her to be like, hey, seven months ago we watched some car crashes. What about that again?
