We're recording this in the back of our very, very hot inflatable booth.

It seems to be acting a bit like an oven right now.

And that's okay though, because I'm here

with Dustin Adams, founder, CEO, main boss of We Are One. And we're going to do a quick little

primer before we get into this. We Are One is a Canadian brand. You manufacture your carbon frames

and rims in Kamloops right at your headquarters. And they also have a big focus on locally sourced parts in North American manufacturing.

So we're going to dive into that for this episode.

But first, Dustin, I know you're here to talk about We Are One,

but I want to spend just a minute or two talking about you so people understand where these bikes are coming from.

Am I correct in saying that there was a time, probably more than a few years ago now,

that you were North America's fastest downhiller?

That is a true statement.

It was a long time ago.

Not many people remember, and that's a good thing,

because I used to race with like 700 mil wide bars and kits that looked like I was maybe

a little baggier than normal but yeah that was true you were you were racing world Cups traveling

the world and doing all that yeah a bit more North American focus but yeah I'd pop onto the

World Cup circuit every once in a while and the early 2000s. Yeah, yeah.

Yeah, the old Norba circuit was the main focus.

I have a specific memory.

I'm not sure if you remember this or not, but there was a year that I was at Parksville for a BC Cup downhill race.
