of academia. I'm Alex Westwood, Andrea Sue Bessatti. Happy 2023, Andrew Halls of 2023. May it be

kinder than the last year? Can we cheers? Yeah, let's drink to it. Cheers. Year 11. Here we go.

So clearly, we somehow survived our live show. And we had so much fun and it was such a

wonderful house. And thank you to everyone who came out. We raised a cool $2,500 for

sistering and the donation has been made. So we're so, so happy that it could happen. Yeah,

it was wonderful. Thank you to the Garrison for being an amazing venue into our sound person.

If you're listening to this, you were great. And I thought our audio for the live show was about

as great as live audio of a podcast gets. Even though I didn't sit as closely to the mic as they

told me to. And I'm pretty sure I dropped the microphone hugging you at the very end. Oh, I

thought that was me who dropped it. Somebody dropped it. And the audio just kind of cuts out.

You guys have listened to the episode. I assume the audio just cuts out. And I was like, oh, no,

did they not hear the last office hours are closed? But it came back. So I don't know how any of that

worked. But it was wonderful. And yeah, listening to that episode gives me warm and fuzzy.

Yeah. Yeah. And hangover flashback. Yeah. Yeah, visceral, visceral, sherry, soaked, hangover.

But it is a new year and what better way to start a new year than to look back and wrap it up and

put a bow on 2022. So this is our annual year in review episode. So it's a lot of fun. We like to

talk about what our favorites were from the year and have a bit of fun as well. How is 2022

for you? Awful. Easily the worst year of my life just crushed. Why do we've never lied to our

listeners? I'm not about to start now. I really, really struggled. I struggled in all aspects.
