Each week I'll review one entry in the bibliography of Stephen King and the chronological order of publication.

And this week, I am not reviewing a novel by Stephen King or a short story by Stephen King, a novella, or a collection of short stories by Stephen King.

No, what I'm doing today is I'm going to be reviewing and giving my thoughts on the collection of stories inspired by the seminal, foundational work by Stephen King, The Stand, collection that came out in late August.

The End of the World, as we know it, New Tales of Stephen King's The Stand, edited by Christopher Golden and Brian Keen.

So there's a lot to dive into with this one.

There's a lot of conversation to be had

about looking at the possibilities of what this means

for Stephen King's stories moving forward,

the legacy of Stephen King,

and then I'm also just gonna talk about

what worked about this collection,

what didn't work about this

collection and my overall thoughts and takeaways so before I get any further welcome

back everyone welcome to the Stephen Kingcast it's been a while the last time that I

recorded anything it was for never flinch in early summer I I believe. There's just a lot. There's a lot

that I have to get to that I haven't got to. I haven't talked about the monkey yet. I haven't reviewed

the life of Chuck. And there's just a bunch of horror recommendations that I've been meaning to get to.

I want to share my thoughts on a lot of really good horror novels that I have been soaking

up over the last year.
