find it incredibly moving that we somehow survive.

Welcome to the show. For 20 years Paul Dano has been a revelation in front of the camera. He began in

L. I. E. E. Evolved in Little Miss Sunshine, emerged in There Will Be Blood, and transmuted in 12

years a slave.

or face, you know all this. But now there's a pivot. In theaters coming Friday, October 19th is Wildlife, Dano's directorial debut.

Set in a small town in 1960s, Montana, the film is a raw familial snapshot, a teenage boy stuck in the middle

between his father and mother, played by Jake Gillen Hall and Carrie Mulligan.
