quick succession that rather than having a to-do list, we ought to strive to have a to-be list.

We've been struggling with illness throughout much of this time, and it's a very odd time for

that, she said.

It's obviously slowed us down and rearranged priorities. I've wondered and

ask God what he wants to teach me and all this. And I read those words yesterday and I feel like that's

at least part of it. My children are growing and life itself is a vapor. Does it matter so much

that the dusting goes undone another day or the laundry piles up or fill in the blank?

We have this gift of time together and of rest and I can choose to complain about the things that are not the way I want.
