We talked about this quite a bit at the beginning of the series, just

in terms of we knew that eventually the story was going to take us back to Lollybrook and

you know, getting to know Jamie and Jamie's family and the Frazier clan and sort of what

that was all going to be about. As I recall when we first talked about this way, way back

in the primeval days of the show, this was originally, it was always a two-parter, and I think we, our shorthand was, episode one was going to be sort of a family drama, and then in episode two, we quickly started talking about bringing the watch in, but it was, in those days, it was about a plague, wasn't it? Didn't we talk about there being a plague that was, or yellow fever or something?

Oh, yeah, I think we had some kind of, yeah, disease. And that, yes, that Claire was going to, that was episode 13, that Claire was going to somehow be able to heal these guys and that was, they were holding them hostage. There was a whole thing. Yeah, it was very different. Yeah. I'm trying to remember why we decided.

We felt, I kind of remember thinking that there was some reason that we thought we need a little bit more structure for the second half as opposed to the first half, but I don't quite remember what the rationale that was. And I think we wanted to pull Ian into that story and we wanted to pull everybody to get a little more juice out of that, I think, was what it was.

And this one, yeah, it was always a family piece.

And initially there was going to be more at the beginning.
