Yeah, they're calling this our darkest week with the coronavirus.

It's also something called Passion Week or Holy Week.

And what's interesting about Passion Week, like the word passion, it actually comes from the Greek pathos, which can mean disease.

That's the original intent of it.

Then it became just kind of known as an affliction or suffering.

And then later on, I'm going to give the whole etymology of this.

We're going to get close.

It also came to mean like being afflicted with desire.

And that meant like yearning.

So passion, the root of passion week is this yearning and disease.

Is this like perfect for what we're going through?

I mean, what Jesus is going through, what we're going through, tracking together, passion

week, and it means yearning and disease at the same time.

We have a God.

The reason I wanted to say this, because I read something like this, I'm like, God understands us.

He doesn't just tolerate us.

He understands.

Think of the week of yearning.

This is what Passion Week means for Jesus, a week of affliction and a week of yearning.
