And our topic today is, are there things God can't do?

And our guest is Jared.

Tom Word, otherwise known as Thomas J. Word.

And that's J.A.Y. Word.

Yes, who was a professor of theology and philosophy at Northwest Nazarene University.

And said some things that we'll talk about that are maybe a little bit different from what

you would typically hear.

And he wrote some of this, we asked the question, are there things God can't do?

Well, Tom Word wrote a book called God Can't.

So spoiler alert.

There's your answer.

And another one that's maybe a little more descriptive, at least the title, the uncontrolling

love of God.

So we talk a little bit about how our views of God impact, how we read the Bible, especially

in the ways that Tom has developed his view of God.

And of course, relying on years and years of Christian tradition and history is not making

the stuff I had nowhere.
