But that summer there was someone new in the picturesque college town.

At the end of August 1990, more than 30,000 students descended on the college town of Gainesville,

eager to start a new school year at the University of Florida.

Students pulled up to the school with their vehicles packed to the gills with every

worldly possession their young adult child could possibly need to survive away from home.
