That reminds me a lot of in the Kurdish insurgency in Turkey, there's sort of a similar dynamic with the,

0:06.4

you know, the sort of underdeveloped neglected areas in the eastern part of the country,

0:10.4

or southeast and part of the country, where the insurgency started, you know, in sort of,

0:15.5

it's same sort of styling, you know, revolutionary base areas, you know, creating, I guess,

0:21.2

an army in the countryside, where the state would actually recruit villagers from the same

0:27.3

families as people who are in the gorilla with money or threats or something like that. You

0:32.4

0:49.0

each other. I mean, you know, India's a major, you know, major state. I mean, they're learning from

0:52.9

0:58.7

1:03.4

from the best of kind of counter insurgency, you know, expertise that is out there globally.

1:10.1

And yeah, and but yeah, there's lots of, there's lots of parallels with what's going on in,

1:15.9

in the Kurdish areas, with the PKK. Of course, that was also originally kind of Maoist,

1:21.8

Maoist inspired that rebellion.
