Welcome back to another edition of the Disney Dish Podcast with Jim Hill. It's me, Lantesta.

This is a follow-up show for our band camp listeners, a continuation of the story of the Oak

Canada Pavilion. But before we begin that, we need to do a couple of things.

The first thing is to bring in one Mr. Jim Hill. Jim has it going?

Not bad, lying yourself. I am doing well, thanks. All right, so let's move on to some

Disney News. Jim, before we talked about, oh, Canada,

there was news of some height test balloons

being flown about three or four stories tall

at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort.

What or what could this be Jim?

To understand this, you've got to understand that the

DVC as we know it, particularly for Disney World, is kind of hitting a ceiling.

We've had the villas that were built next to the Grand Floridium, we had the

Polly which put the bungalows out there, now mind you, you and I both know that there was a plan to build a set of towers that were going to bookend that resort.

It's still part of the plan. I was flat out told that was one of the reasons they did redid the

lobby the way they did, you know, with the notion of pulling out the giant

fountains and the decorative rocks and that sort of thing with the notion of

if we're going to have a couple of thousand more people a day coming through here because we have these two DVC towers,

we need a bigger lobby. So let's just do this now during this rehab.

Yeah, and I've heard that the towers are definitely still in the mix.

Okay. What they're finding is that the properties that people want to go into are those

seven-seat lagoon monorail hotels are as close to as possible.
