Hey everybody, this is Andy Spateri host of the Champions cast and the Omega Metroid podcast.

During the last few difficult months, I've hoped that my podcast can provide so much needed

fun and relief and a form of escapism from everything going on.

But with the events that have transpired in the last week, I just feel like right now

escapism isn't good enough. And I wanted to use the platform that I have to encourage everybody

to not stay neutral in the face of racism and injustice. I want to encourage everybody to use your

voice. Nothing I can say can alleviate the

pain and anger that we all feel right now, but it's very important for us all to let our

brothers and our sisters of color know that we are here with them and that we see them and that

we support them and that we honor them and that we will fight alongside

with them. What happened was wrong. It was immoral and it was wrong. If you were able to help

out financially, that would be fantastic. There's a couple organizations that I'll read off here
