Summary
This week, Emma gets stuck in an elevator, a red squirrel gets way too close for comfort and Steve continues his transformation into Old Father Time.

All the while, Steve and Emma continue to get into the rhythm of their hike. They ache a little bit more and they whinge and moan a little bit more but, underneath it all, they are improving with every day and planning an even faster hike.

Emma now wants to be at Santiago by November 10, so Steve has set a tougher schedule to see if they can achieve their desired outcome. So far, the two of them are getting to grips with the new plan. What could possibly go wrong?

| 1:16.6 | And if I run into somebody who wants to do it, I will. |

| 1:25.0 | So first off, we're going to start with day number seven. |
| 1:28.3 | And it was only Monday two days ago, |
| 1:30.4 | and I have no recollection of what happened on Monday. |
| 1:33.3 | So my between day reports will sound like I have no idea what I've done, |
| 1:40.4 | and it will be right because I don't. |
| 1:42.1 | So let's hear day seven. |
| 1:47.7 | Day seven. Day seven, and we had a bit of ground to make up. |
| 1:51.2 | We were still in Estella from the previous day. |
| 1:53.4 | So we got back through the town and tried to get back to where we'd had breakfast the day before, |
| 1:59.5 | which was a place, that place called |
| 2:01.4 | Namaste, which we loved, but unfortunately, it was closed at 7.30 in the morning, which is a bit |
| 2:07.9 | of a drag, I must have it. Our plan was to get to Los Arcos, which was about 13 or 14 miles away, |
| 2:14.5 | something like that. But we sort of had in our mind, we might be able to get a little bit further. |
| 2:20.3 | And, well, we'll see how it goes. |
