Hello, Sydney.

Hello, Sydney. which is coming at you with another episode of the Hello Sydney podcast, a podcast for

horror lovers where we discuss any and all things horror. It's me, Sydney. So last week I talked

about how I was going to see Night Swim, which I sure did. And if you haven't seen my TikTok

review on it, yeah, just as disappointing as everybody's saying that it is. That was just,

it was so forgettable. I mean, the good thing about that is that was

the first movie that, or at least the like first mainstream horror movie we had of 2024. So like,

I'm hoping that we can only go up from here, question mark. I don't really fucking know. If you

haven't seen it, I would never tell somebody to not watch a horror movie because we all have

different tastes. And that's what makes the horror community so great. So like check it out. But again,

from what I'm hearing for most people, nobody really seemed to be a fan of it. And yeah, it all just

felt really disconnected. I'm not going to give away any spoilers here, but there was like a whole

baseball scenario. It was just fucking strange. I don't know. Obviously on this podcast, I really only

talk about the movies that I like. So this week, I decided that I was going to rewatch the whole

Fear Street trilogy. And I feel like I have been doing myself a disservice because the only time I

watched these movies was when they came out in 2021. And I have not watched them since. And I haven't

honestly even really paid them any attention or given them their credit. And what a fucking shame,

because I forgot how incredible this trilogy is. Like, this is a trilogy where all three of the

movies are equally as good. And if anything, they like get better as they progress. And I feel like we're just

sleeping on Fear Street, like myself included. I never really hear anybody talk about these movies.

And all three are fucking bangers, like absolute bangers, incredible movies, incredible the way
