What up Julie? Julie. Yes. Guess what time it is. What time is it? Is World Cup time?

Oh yes it is. And guess who's going to France for a month? I'm sorry. You want me to go to France for a month?

Twist my arm. I'm leaving. I'm off to the airport. I'm leaving on a jet plane. I am off to France. I can't wait.

Your flight is literally in what? Like three hours? Yeah. I'm packing up. I'm zipping up. You might be hearing me zipping in this.

But I'm also pumped because we have four bonus episodes. This being one of them coming out during the women's World Cup.

And our first one is on Ms. Tobin Heath.

And the reason why I love the story about Tobin is she's still even though she's a star on the US team.

She's a bit of a mystery on purpose. She doesn't love the spotlight. She doesn't want the attention.

She seeks no external affirmation about her life or her play or anything. It's fascinating to me, especially given the modern day athlete who has to be in one day.

And she's really consumed with branding and marketing and all those things. So we of course did an E60 profile on her for the World Cup.

And when we do E60 stories, as you know, then they are very long interviews and very detailed. And so much of it was on the cutting room floor.

I could not live with myself if that was going to be the case. So we went to E60 and said, Hey, what have we made a podcast of this and did an unredacted version?

That's what it is. So it's less of a podcast. It's more of an interview because why is that Lynn, explain that.

Well, when you're doing a TV interview, it's really important that the reporter not talk over the interview subject.

All podcast listeners are like, thank God. Julie won't be interrupting anymore. All I hear though, people are demanding more Julie Fowdy.

So it might be it might sound a little strange because people, people love you, Julie. They do.

So I'm not interrupting. And and I, and you literally because the editors don't like it when you jump on and step on, they call it.

Julie, can you set the scene for folks as far as what this E60 interview looked like?

There is a large party of people in one room in a small space. And so you have camera. We have three cameras.

You have my awesome producer, Jen Carson, who did the piece with me, who worked her tail off on this.

So we spent a couple in a couple different locations one at our house in Los Angeles is the first long chunky sit down that we cut down a bit.
