There is considerable confusion between wealth as consumption and wealth as

labor allocation.

By latter measure, anyone in government whose budget exceeds $1 billion is a billionaire,

government is the largest corporation. Can anyone unpack that? It's interesting that he's trying

to sort of elevate his status as a capitalist by comparing himself to the government

because I thought libertarians hated the government.

Is he a libertarian though?

Well, okay, perhaps you could continue and we might have some tweets to enlighten us on that subject.

So now he's starting to get into anti-fata territory here.

He says, socialism versus capitalism is not even the right question.

What really matters is avoiding monopolies that restrict people's freedoms.

Well, monopolies restrict people's freedom.

Apparently they do, yeah.

What kind of monopolies?

He said it's not about socialism versus capitalism.

So monopolies.

But then he says, by the way, I am actually a socialist. Oh, I'm trying to make sense of this.

I think maybe what, like he, I think perhaps he's equating socialism in like the very vulgar sense of like anything the government does.

So maybe he's saying like like public roads restrict freedom just the same way as like Amazon restricts your freedom.
