It's been a long, dark, and perilous road as we've traveled through the narrative of the Afton family,

and, while the Ultimate Custom Night is definitely imminent.

The Afton Family arc has definitely begun to set on the horizon.

So, before we put this game to rest, this episode will be going over the last little bits

of lore and symbolism that I couldn't fit in the previous two episodes.

The Afton family to me is one of the hallmarks of Scott Cawthon's writing talent. Scott is definitely an improvisational writer, as he even admits that during the creation of the first game,

while he knew there was a larger and dark narrative to be explored, he had no clue what it would look like.

From Scott Cothan's interview with Docco, he elaborated on the subject, quote,

I definitely left a lot of things open-ended, you know, in case I wanted to expand upon them later.

about that on the subreddit.
