We're talking to John Nichols of the nation. Yep. Really, really interesting guy.

He has quite a bit of insight on the Bernie movement, on the Democratic party.

You know, he's he's somebody who written many interesting books. Yes, to say the

least. Yes, labor guy. I really came to know him during the Wisconsin

Uprising and push back against Scott Walker in his attempt to

laborize. That's where he really, you know, jumped onto my radar. It was really

well known before that too early Bernie believer has been, you know, a 2016 believer in

that sort of politics for a long time. So it will be great to talk to him. His latest

book is called The Fight for the Soul of the Democratic Party, which is always right

up our alley, right up our alley, of course. And so I was telling you about I've been

reading this book and we actually interviewed on rising the authors of this book Lucky,

out Joe Biden barely won the presidential. Yeah, release your song popped into my mind.

Did it actually. What do I remember these songs? Okay. Anyway, so it's really interesting

because this is written by two very mainstream reporters, Amy Parnes of actually the Hill

where I am and Jonathan Allen, who's someone that actually when I was at the cycle at MSMEC

would interview him all the time. So I have a long history with him. So it's just a

very, like, pretty neutral journalistic telling of the 2020 campaign, like a game change

...
