It's great to be here today after the horrible tech issues that plagued the first 35 minutes of trying to get started there.

Yes, we hope that there's not our disappointment in our own technological prowess

is not bleeding through the microphones because I am excited about what is to come.

This is the podcast where we are going through the book Armada by Ernest Klein as a follow-up, well, this podcast is a follow up to our podcast about his first book, Ready Player One.

And we're plowing our way through it.

And that word plowing is on purpose.

I, though, am excited, Connor.

Are you excited or not excited? Yeah, you know, I, there's, there's

something that's been looming over this, the past couple months, and I haven't mentioned it to you

until now. Oh, I don't know if it's been palpable in the last, last couple ones we've done,

but you know how we, we finished the last one and I had that

fun idea to auction the books off for charity? Yeah. Yeah. It worked out pretty well. I mean,

some people really stepped up. It was really generous. It was. I thought that was a good thing.

Yeah, no, it was. It was. They sold for like $450, which is great. No, that's raised a lot of money for a good cause. But I don't know if you've sold anything on eBay, like recently. Yeah, I mean, you know, I've, I've let loose a few things. Why? Well, they just, so after you sell something for, for hundreds of dollars, they come through at the end of the month and they debit you for like 10% of that sale.

Yeah.

So, so I, you know, I donated all that money to charity and then they came through and they charged me $45 to sell those books off.

You know, so whenever you've got that $2.50, you want to send my way for that good gesture

that went unpunished.
