Hey friends, it's Lauren, and I'm totally jazzed about today's topic because have you heard of the five love

languages by Gary Chapman? It's a book and it talks about how some people like quality time or

physical touch. It's these five ways that people send and receive love. Well, I think he missed the mark totally on this book

because there is definitely a sixth love language. It's called food. And that's my love language.

I'm telling you, if you invite me over to your home and you feed me, I will be your best friend.

It's fantastic. And I don't know if this was conditioned

in college where every time somebody offers you a free meal, you kind of salivate. It's almost like

that Pavlov experiment. They're like, we're going to say free food and watch the college students

flock. And I think you never really get over that phase. At least I did it. I'm like,

free food, yes, I'm there. I would love to come. And now that I'm a mom with children, I'm like,

yes, you will feed my family. I don't have to cook. I will be there and I will bring drinks.

But seriously, I love talking about hospitality because, yes, food is involved, but it's something that the

Lord has really grown me in over the past five years. Hospitality is not something that I had

a biblical worldview on, and it's not something that I grew up knowing how to do. So there were a lot
