Summary

This episode, Derek and Aaron get into 1987's neo-noir psychological horror movie "Angel Heart" written and directed by Alan Parker. They talk about Mickey Rourke's noir detective performance, how the film tackles 1950s period piece between New York and New Orleans, and the portrayals of spirituality and religion. They also get into the disturbing nature of the horror by the end, the differences between this adaptation and the book "Falling Angel" by William Hjortsberg, noir versus neo-noir, and many other aspects of the movie.
