We are a weekly podcast where we talk to queer folks from all walks of life.

We are here today with someone who I feel I have known for many years.

But like many of my friends, it is through an app called Twitter.

So this is the first time we have virtually met.

We are here with comedian, author, and musician Lane Moore. Hello. Hi. Hi. This is so exciting. This feels like when we had on Sarah Benincasa, who I felt like I knew, but had never, Twitter is, I love it. I know it's toxic and evil, but I really do love it. There's a lot of great things about it, though. I've met some of my favorite people on Twitter. I don't know. I have nothing against online forms of meeting, especially since it's inherently very queer. Like, you know, it's real, like, this is where queer people meet is on the internet. That's what it is. I was trying to remember if you were someone who I already

followed because I was like, oh, this person is funny. And then gradually found out you were queer

and it was like an Easter egg or there's people who it's like, I follow them because I know

they're queer. Because they're queer. Yeah, exactly. But you're so, you're so funny on Twitter.

And you're also so, you're so vocal're so funny on Twitter and you're also so you're so vocal about about queer

stuff and about like mental health stuff and just like you're you're a joy but yeah let me

throw it to you you can say hi to the peeps and and talk a little about yourself yeah sure um hi

i'm lane um uh yeah it's like the second you give a performer like, just talk about yourself. I'm like, uh, I know, I know why to shrink it to myself like a turtle. I didn't know what to say. I knew what to say. Whatever, it's fine. It's like, it's like when people, when people find out you're a singer and they're like sing a song and you're like totally what and then you can't remember literally

any songs that ever were written totally you're also like why would I do that right now

yeah I can help you you have you have a book it's called how to be alone that's true that's true

so I have a book out called How to Be Alone if you want to and even if you don't.

I created a show called Tinder Live where I make fun of mostly assist straight dudes on dating

apps.

Yeah, I do all sorts of things.
