when an international manhunt was launched for 30 year old maths teacher Jeremy forest from Bishop Bell

Sea of East school in Eastbourne when he ran off to France with his 15 year old student. We aren't going to name

the girl who was involved in this because she was a child when all of this happened. Her name is out

there obviously because there was loads of appeals for her to come home, etc. But basically in all of

the reports since she uses the alias Gemma grant just to be fair. That's what we're going to call her to.

The two had met Gemma and Jeremy in September 2011 when Jeremy became Gemma's maths teacher when she

started year nine. And for our international listeners at the start of year nine, Gemma would have been 13
