In fact, her co-workers couldn't help but notice her beaming mood.

The moment she arrived at work at Menards, a home improvement store in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Most of them were aware Sydney had been struggling with an ongoing battle with depression, but

it seemed as though things were starting to look up.

She had a new prescription for antidepressants that seemed to be working and she'd also decided

to quit smoking marijuana.

It was something else putting in extra bounds and her step that day.

She'd met someone, a 25-year-old woman named Audrey, that is, according to her Tinder

profile.

The two women had been matched on the dating app and began messaging each other on November
