Chad Bird who just released a book. I'm just getting right. I just jumping right into it.

Yes yes this is the week. Well I don't know when everybody's listening this but yeah

The the newest book came out this week.

Every month, yeah.

I thought once a week was going to be too much.

Oh, yeah, don't blame me. It's sort of the publisher's schedule here.

So yeah, I had night driving come out in October and this one came out

January 2nd. So yeah I'm super excited about this one because it's actually fits with with 40 minutes.

This is this is kind of a it takes a lot of old Testament narratives and it demonstrates basically the theology of the

cross is embedded in those how God is always working like we talk about this

show all the time God is always working through the opposite he's hiding himself and these simple common everyday

things and places and and people working through the the unexpected kind of this counterintuitive way that God deals

deals with us we see exemplified most clearly in the cross So we're basically taking the theology of the

cross and using that as the lens through which to view the Old Testament and then

correspondingly to our own lives and now God is at work in the simple, mundane, common, everyday aspects of our lives.
