We'll get to the Vice Presidential debate, clips, analysis, but first let's talk about

the news, the Commission on Presidential Debates, essentially making the decision to

de-platform live appearances by the President and Vice President Joe Biden for the

upcoming October 15th debate, saying that they instead want a virtual debate.

So like all of those Zoom meetings that you've been having with your office or

your friends, imagine that imposed on the presidential debate structure.

Here's my concern.

Are they really doing this as they've stated for the purpose of protecting Joe Biden from

the risk of coronavirus from the President, or is this an effort to create a platform

where the moderator has more control, where the President is not able to exert his dominance

on the format the way he was live and in person.

The President now saying that he will not participate in a digital debate, he is demanding the

live in-person performance.

I think that's smart for him politically.

I think that that makes Joe Biden look like he doesn't want to be live in person with

the President for other reasons.
