This week's guest is Annabelle DeCistoow from the podcast Adderall and Compliments.

We, of course, chat about the housewives, but also get into this week's below-deck med,

just because so much is happening on the show, and I know I don't normally recap it,

but I think it's really important to delve into what is going on and the mental health

stigma that is happening on the show.

And Annabel gets really candid about her mental health struggles. And I think it's just really

important for everyone to hear. I realize that I don't talk about it on the podcast very much,

if at all, but I struggle from anxiety disorder. And I've had it since I was nine years old. And there

was a period in my life where I didn't want to be on medication and definitely needed to be.

And it was my mom who convinced me to get on it. And as sort of a gift to me to try and encourage me to go on

daily medication, she got me this really cute Vera Bradley

pill container box that had the like Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, you know that a lot, you see a lot

of old people who take medication and you see it at Walgreens and CVS and usually they're just

kind of bland and very sterile looking. And my mom thought that if I had a cute Vera Bradley one, that maybe I would be more enticed to stick to my medication regimen.

Anyway, I just wanted to share that as we talk about mental health in this episode.
