Good morning and welcome to another exciting edition of BTL the return of Guide Day.

And so far we've stayed in the freshwater from Florida to New York, to Arizona to Louisiana and Texas, and this time we're going to go out west and we're still going to focus on bass.

We're going to focus on a bass that I know me living in Oklahoma and the majority of Bass Anglers probably haven't caught

saltwater bass, calico bass, and go to Captain Ben Florentino.

Ben thanks for jumping on, BTL. Hey, thanks for having me, Matt.

I'm excited to talk about our West Coast saltwater bass.

It is.

So I've talked to you a little bit about this

in the past at Bass Master Classics.

Your son, Matt, runs a lot of stuff over at Afco in California. I've always seen him

hosting up holding up pictures when I first got to know Matt I said what in the

hell is that and he goes dude he goes it's a calico bass and it's almost like

largemouth small mouth and spotted bass all mixed together and then I started asking

some people and they're like dude you know his dad is like a

legendary captain and guide out there, the Southern California area. He's like one of the

dudes and no, so that I got to meet you and when I came up with this concept for guide day I wanted to give viewers and listeners unique opportunities

Whether you travel for work, you're somewhere on vacation, you just want to take a cool trip but learn more about what you're getting into.

And I said, dude, I gotta get Captain Floretito on guide day because this is very intriguing to me.

And I think for a lot of bass anglers who are used to just

the freshwater intriguing to them as well but talk a little bit dive into it start
