or even think if you're a good liberal, a good conservative, or a good citizen. Each week,

I'm in L.A. to interview one of my favorite people on the left, one of the few people on the left, who continues to be primarily interested in ending the American Empire, something I care a lot about.

We are in L.A. in your neighborhood, Highland Park.

And we have a couple things in common.

One is that we're both from the Bay Area.

You from sort of the greater Bay Area.

I'm from Berkeley, the real deal.

The other thing we have in common is that we both hate American foreign policy,

consistently, relentlessly, always. The other thing we have in common is that, well, we were at one time socialists. You know, I no longer am. I think you still are. We'll talk about that later. But let's get into, like, why you're one of the very few lefties, I would say, who cares a lot about American foreign policy and war, you know, because don't you agree that it's a minority passion on the left?
